Local 127 By-Laws

LOCAL UNION BYLAWS

Section 1

NAME

This Local 'Union shall be known as EMPLOYEES OF TOLL ROADS, BRIDGES AND TUNNELS, THE STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS, TEAMSTERS UNION LOCAL 127 and is

chartered by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

Section 2 JURJSDICTION

The jurisdiction of this Local Union shall be determined by the International Union from time to time.

Section 3 PRINCIPAL OFFICE

1. The principal office of this organization shall be located in the City of Milford, County of Worcester, State of Massachusetts, or at such other place as the Local Union Executive Board may designate. The organization may have such other sub-offices either within or without the 'State of Massachusetts as the Local Union Executive Board may require from time to time.

2. All books, records, and financial documents shall be kept at the principal office of the Local Union.

Section 4 OBJECTS

1. The objects of this Local Union shall be:

1. 1. To unite into one labor organization all workers eligible for membership, regardless of religion, race, creed, color, national origin, age, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other legally protected group or class;

1. 2. To engage in organizing workers to provide the benefit of unionism to all workers and to protect and preserve the benefits obtained for members of this organization;

1. 3. To secure improved wages, hours, working conditions and other economic advantages through organization, negotiations and collective bargaining, through legal and economic means, and other lawful methods;
