Telephone conference with DOT about the ongoing pandemic

Teamsters had a telephone conference with DOT about the ongoing pandemic They assured the Teamsters that buildings are being cleaned and also that the trucks are being sanitized and all members have PPE. The furloughs will continue till further notice. There are questions and concerns about the raises. First and foremost, you are getting your raises and retro pay. It took the DOT 10 months to pay the unions that settled last July. TEAMSTERS held out longer than the other union because some of our members were not getting their fair share You will receive all retro money and raises, and the clock don't stop ticking $$. Thank you for your continued patience; there is a light at the end of this tunnel.
